Rob Ellison

Rob is a Partner and Founder of Cortex Reply. He concentrates on agentic AI, the creation of autonomous, tool-using systems that carry out real tasks, and the associated challenges: governing what these systems can do and understanding their costs. His current focus is on AI governance and observability. As agents move from demonstrations to regulated environments, the focus shifts from 'can it work' to 'can we trust it, audit it, and control it.' Rob develops the frameworks and infrastructure that ensure agentic systems are safe for deployment in regulated industries, where oversight is essential. This is underpinned by 25 years of cloud specialisation and a history of transforming ideas into effective teams and successful businesses.
